There are people who escape to nature looking for peace and relax. I visit Things organized neatly and get the same effect: brain relax, everything is in place, taken out of context, therefore, silent.

City is the perfect place for people like me who find peace in organizing things. Nature is not subject to organization. French architects understood that right. As any system, nature is only subject to reconsideration.

Apparently, taking pleasure in tiding up is not such a weird thing.  Tom Stafford wrote an article for the BBC about what makes Tetris and other apparently pointless activities so appealing to our brain.

Like a clever parasite, Tetris takes advantage of the mind’s basic pleasure in getting things done and uses it against us.
